SUMMARY:Porter Scrub frogwatch survey
DESCRIPTION:FrogWatch SA Seasonal Census survey (https://frogwatchsa.com.au/about/seasonal-census) in Howard Creek. \nMeet at the northern end off Burfords Hill Road on Saturday 6th September. \nMeet 2 pm. Session to finish about 5 pm. \n\nFirstly we will visit the exclosure and collect bamboo stakes that have fallen over that do not serve a purpose\, otherwise re-position them. We will also re-label our planting pins. \nAfter this we will undertake two frog surveys along the two different sections of Howard Creek. \nTo undertake a survey we need to download the FrogSpotter app to our device prior. Each survey is only 3 minutes which requires being still and quite so the app can record the frog calls. \nI have download the app so we can use my phone unless someone would like to have a go. \nYou may wish to\, prior the session to see how it works and even try it at home to see what frogs you have. \n\nPlease wear appropriate clothing and footwear. \nAfternoon tea will be provided. \nPlease RSVP by Friday 5th September.
