Today we built a section of alignment fence where rain run-off was threatening to consume Sue Scott’s backyard! She had organised for the star pickets to be driven and anchored prior to the day so we wired up the fence and packed it well with plant debris. This should absorb the erosive force of the next high water event.
Our team worked well and enjoyed making some social re/connections for three hours including a lovely morning tea provided by Sue.
Attendees: Landholder Sue Scott, Ellen Krahnert, Carolyn Lewis, Anthea Sellars and Stephen Anderson.
There is some work left to do to remedy an undercut tree and protect a washout so the local Project Officer will be making a follow up visit to organise the completion.
